Male circumcision is practiced culturally and promoted for medical and religious reasons especially in the U.S.A. Fornication or adultery creates strong addiction that becomes too hard to overcome. I concluded that in order to commit fornication or adultery, the individuals must successfully overcome their spousal one flesh resistance against fornication or adultery by numbing them using various rationalizations, excuses and techniques, which makes fornication or adultery one of the strongest forms of addiction, − a form that is too difficult and challenging to overcome. The Creator abides by ethical, fair and just values at the highest level and therefore, cannot make choices for people, but constantly assists them in their choices verbally and nonverbally with the best teaching possible as shown by the teaching of Adam in Genesis chapter two.

The sexual organs transfer the Genetic which has the ability to form a human being that never existed before, transform the virgin Genetic flesh that the offspring inherits into the permanent spousal one flesh or the “the two becomes one flesh” and transfer the Creator’s nonverbal communication law (as summarized by the Ten Commandments or what I refer to as the universal Core values of goodness summarized as ethical, fair and just) to every human being from one generation to another regardless of their religious affiliation or communication abilities. Therefore, I believe choices and responses related to sexuality are closely linked to the Creator’s design.

I concluded that sexual addiction is a contagious disease somewhat similar to contagious viruses that can develop newer strains of the disease more resistant to the current available medicine. Therefore, treating sexual addiction requires strong medicinal treatment to become effective. This strong medicine is evident in the Creator’s choice of painful bloody circumcision to combat the people’s drifting away from the Creator’s design regarding their sexual choices and addiction.

In Genesis 17: 11-12 the Creator is speaking to Abraham and stating,
Circumcise the flesh of your foreskin, and that shall be the mark of the covenant between you and me. Throughout the ages, every male among you, when he is eight days old, shall be circumcised…
I conclude that the Creator’s choice of male circumcision was an important teaching guide to provide His people additional assistance − to reinforce His original teachings and remind His people of His design for the powerful sexual organ that human beings are privileged to have. The sign of the covenant is not expressed more powerfully by words that are easily forgotten, but by a permanent visual sign made by unwashed and un-erased flesh. The choice of a sign at the tip and forefront of the sexual organ speaks tremendously about the message the Creator was teaching. Numbing the transformed and inseparable couples resistance against fornication or adultery creates powerful addiction to fornication or adultery that cannot be overcome without constant reminders and ongoing assistance. It is no wonder to learn of stories about spouses who had affairs for many years and failed repeatedly to overcome their sexual addictions – such a list includes religious leaders.

Noted that, although circumcision affects the males, its purpose includes the woman equally, because for the man to have a sexual relationship with a woman, the sign of the covenant instantly becomes a clearly visible and powerful reminder to both of the promise made related to sexual choices. Also, circumcision of the flesh is a permanent reminder about the most profound and powerful teaching lesson that Adam summarized in Genesis chapter 2 stating and teaching the offspring, “bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh….and the two of them become one flesh.”

Furthermore, circumcision reminds the man and woman choosing to have a sexual relationship of the symbol of flesh that Adam taught that refers to their future offspring – the offspring’s Genetic flesh − and the Creator’s Commandment to honor the father and mother who each contribute a strand to the formation of the offspring’s Genetic flesh. Also, it is a powerful reminder of the promise to abide by the Creator’s design for sexual choices. The promise between the human being and the Creator implies that if the man keeps his/ or her part of the promise, then the Creator will do the same. The opposite is also implied. For example, if the man or woman does not keep the promise of the Creator’s design related to sexual choices, then the Creator is at liberty to judge as harshly as the Creator considers just and appropriate.

Therefore, the Creator is obviously reinforcing the original teaching passed down by Adam in Genesis chapter 2, about the Creator’s timeless design for sexual choices. If the sexual addiction is so strong that everything else fails, after all the clothes are removed, circumcision is the last sign visible to both the man and woman to remind them to ask whether their sexual choice complies with the Creator’s design. Furthermore, couples preparing for sexual relations are reminded nonverbally and symbolically that just as circumcision is a painful permanent physical process, likewise sexual choices that violate the Creator’s design could result in severe negative permanent physical and spiritual consequences. The opposite is also implied − that sexual choices that comply with the Creator’s design have positive permanent physical and spiritual consequences on judgment day. They would both visually experience the presence of the Creator witnessing the sexual act. The visual sign of circumcision symbolizes the Creator’s voice, words and physical presence to Abraham as stated in Genesis chapter 17: 11, “Circumcise the flesh of your foreskin, and that shall be the mark of the covenant between you and me.”
Indeed, it is clear that sexual activity is a profound and permanent alteration of the man and woman that transforms them as Adam taught the generations in Genesis 2: , “This one, at last …….one flesh.” This implies permanent changes all the way to the Genetic of the spousal one flesh level creating one flesh. It is solid as the bone and potentially lasts thousands of years after death.

Circumcision is a sign of a promise between the Creator and man related to the purpose of the sexual design and that promising sign is evident to everyone who witnesses it especially during the sexual relationship. When one carries a symbol of a promise such as a wedding ring, looking at the wedding ring actually reinforces the promise of a faithful relationship. Even when the spouse is absent, the ring is a reminder that the faithful relationship must be upheld as if both are present not only physically and spiritually, but also genetically. The sexual relationship between a man and a woman is a permanent promise as Adam and Eve illustrated in their heroic choice and teaching. In other words, those who agreed to practice circumcision on themselves and their children are always present at the promise that involves sexual relationship. I say a promise sexual relationship not a meeting table, because it is not made on papers that involves a property, but involves the sexual part that is used and implies a very specific purpose of transforming the two bodies into one body genetically. It affects generations and their relationship with the Creator’s design.

Before circumcision, the foreskin resembles a small piece of cloth. I noticed Genesis 2: 25 states, “The man and his wife were both naked, yet they felt no shame.” This clearly implies the man and woman are married now, and more specifically, as stated in verse 24, “And the two of them become one body,” or as discussed previously, the two of them achieve the permanent alteration of their virgin Genetic segment of the spousal one flesh. I find that circumcision makes the sexual part naked – a precise reminder of the Creator’s original timeless design – the sexual relationship is exclusively and permanently between the husband and wife creating one flesh all the way to the Genetic makeup forming the permanent spousal one flesh. I find the teaching and reinforcing simple, clear, timeless, unmistakable, undeniable, unchangeable, ethical, fair, just, logical and scientific for everyone. It imposes equally serious and inexcusable responsibility on everyone.

In summary, I conclude that circumcision reinforces the original and timeless teaching Adam passed to the offspring in Genesis 2: 23 stating, “bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh … and the two of them become one flesh.” The flesh is obvious to the naked eye and symbolizes the offspring. The offspring reflects the offspring’s Genetic flesh and clarifies the deeper and less obvious permanent alteration of the virgin Genetic flesh (of a person prior to any sexual relationship) to become spousal one flesh. This formation of the spousal one flesh symbolizes one flesh all the way to the bones, and yes the Genetic is implied within the bones and the body. I conclude that circumcision is another powerful visual teaching about the promise to abide by the Creator’s original timeless design.
