Our Lady of Guadalupe appeared to Juan Diego on Mount Tepeyac in Mexico.
When Juan Diego was concerned by the illness of his uncle she told him:
"Hear me and understand well, my son, that nothing should frighten or grieve you. Let not your heart be disturbed.
Do not fear sickness, nor any other anguish.
Am I not here, who is your Mother?
Are you not under my protection?
Am I not your health?
Are you not happily in my fold, here in the crossing of my arms?
What else do you wish?
