Then the scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in adultery and made her stand in the middle. They said to him, “Teacher, this woman was caught in the very act of committing adultery. Now in the law, Moses commanded us to stone such woman. So what do you say?” They said this to test him, so that they could have some charges against him. Jesus bent down and began to write on the ground with his finger. But when they continued asking him, he straightened up and said to them, “Let the one among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” Again he bent down and wrote on the ground. And in response, they went away one by one, beginning with the elders. So he was left alone with the woman before him. Then Jesus straightened up and said to her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?” She replied, “No one, Sir.” Then Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you. Go, and from now on do not sin anymore.”
The Messiah frequently taught, encouraged and practiced forgiveness of those who seriously and honestly seek forgiveness for whatever hinders abiding by the Creator’s Timeless Design. He forgives sorrowful people who request and seek a new opportunity to live without the previous diseases overwhelming and defeating them. The Creator granted forgiveness for offenses.
Likewise, the Messiah granted forgiveness for offenses. However, logic indicates that the offender must be sincere, honest, remorseful and committed to take all the necessary steps forward with sincerity. To continue to seriously disobey the Creator’s Timeless Design makes such forgiveness a form of cheating that is unfair and illogical, that disagrees with the Creator’s nonverbal communication and the teaching examples of our ancestor Adam, that disagrees with the Biblical testimonies and that justifies a free pass by claiming a person is superior to and above everyone else. Adam’s choice of Labor and Death testifies to that. Ethical Fair Just principles testify to that. Logic testifies to that. Moses, by appealing to the emotions of those seeking fornication or adultery and divorce to help them wake up from their numbness, testifies to that. The Messiah instructs the people as stated in Matthew 7: 13, “Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the road broad that leads to destruction, and those who enter through it are many.” That statement points to the fact that many believe foolishly in free passes.
Let us read with fresh eyes and heart the Biblical story of the forgiveness of adultery written in John chapter 8 verses 3-11.
The Messiah, like Adam and Moses, is a great teacher and similarly uses obvious known images to teach the depth of the profound Creator’s design to everyone. Therefore, the lesson of teaching was for everyone there − the adulterer, those who brought her and others who were watching and observing. First, from what I observed, Moses did not do what the people claimed − to command them to stone the guilty to death. When he heard this false statement, the Messiah wisely began to write silently on the ground with his finger. The silence of the Messiah and his writing symbolized to me that the Messiah was reminding the people of the Creator’s nonverbal design written within each one’s body, or as I view it within the Genetic Code.
Notice that what the Messiah wrote was not revealed, although obviously someone would have read it afterward. I believe the words were personal and also spoke to everyone to examine their living life choices and responses. Furthermore, the writing of the message in the nonverbal communication refers to the law of the Ten Commandments. The law of the Ten Commandments clearly commands against killing. Moses, therefore, was using medicine for the numbed people to treat the disease of sex addiction; he was teaching the people to abide by the Ten Commandments which not only command not to kill, but command against adultery and any form of fornication or adultery. In other words, if the people avoid killing, that should discourage them from encouraging, promoting, participating, manipulating, or teaching anyone to commit fornication or adultery and should discourage them from committing fornication or adultery. In other words, if you do all you can to prevent fornication or adultery and everyone else does the same, then fornication or adultery would not exist and killing would not exist. Therefore, a law to kill for committing fornication or adultery really means a law to encourage people to avoid fornication or adultery and help their offspring and others to do the same. The problem, as I indicated, is that sex addiction is a disease that continues to weaken people so that they manipulate the truth (written or nonverbal), to find ways around it or to misinterpret the truth. The Messiah realized all that from the erroneous question the people asked when they claimed Moses commanded them to kill, which is a matter clearly against what is stated in the Ten Commandments. Additionally, he knew their hearts.
Nevertheless, the Messiah found it a great opportunity to teach people how to read the truth deeply and live by the Creator’s timeless design. The Messiah slowed the people’s urgency by writing on the ground; this pause prepared them to try to understand what he was teaching them. Notice that they called the Messiah “Teacher”, so it is expected for the teacher to teach and for the people to learn. Likewise, not only the accusers were trying to figure out what he was teaching, but also the adulterer and the people watching. They felt that some sort of deeper lesson would come out of this and they grew anxious to hear it as clearly indicated, “They continued asking him.” Their repeated asking implies they are more willing to learn than when they first brought her. That is what a great teacher would do − first prepare the students to pay attention at the level of lesson the teacher would teach. When they first came, they were not ready to learn, but He helped them to focus better and more closely to His intended lesson.
The lesson was revealed to everyone including the adulterer, the accusers, passers-by and observers, then, now and in the future. The Creator, Moses, Adam, and the Messiah want everyone to abide by the Creator’s timeless design − not only the adulterer, but also the accusers and everyone else. That is the profound lesson of the story that can easily be missed or wrongly rationalized to excuse disobeying the Creator’s design. The Messiah, similar to Moses, Adam and Eve, knows well that the moment our offspring’s Genetic flesh forms we inherit the privilege to live for a brief time and that privilege is followed by assured death. Both the good and bad die. Both the guilty and innocent die. Both the accused and the accuser die. Both the criminal and the innocent die. Both the adulterer and the chaste person die. There is no escape from death for anyone; therefore, the Creator’s timeless design is not about who dies and who lives during life. It is about who dies after abiding by the Creator’s timeless design. Therefore, the Messiah profoundly pointed everyone to examine whether his or her living life choices and responses abide by the Creator’s written and nonverbal Design. That was the profound message and wonderfully everyone of the accusers, observers and onlookers learned and understood it, at least for the time being. Everyone learned the goal is to save oneself and not to condemn others without helping them more.
The Messiah continues his profound deep teaching and extends it to the adulterer. The adulterer experienced a life-changing lesson. A few minutes before, her life was meaningless and useless; she was waiting to die at any moment because she had been caught in the risky act of fornication or adultery. However, she was intelligent enough to figure out that death is not the fear, because everyone dies from something eventually. So she is the typical example of those who figured out the first part of life − that the moment our Genetic flesh forms, we are privileged with the opportunity to live for a brief time and then we die. The only missing part for her and most of us is that we live so consumed by accidentals that we lose sight of the need to abide by the Creator’s timeless design to win the ultimate goal of life. In other words, most of us are so consumed by accidentals that we forget that the ultimate goal of life is to win life with the Creator after living ceased. The profound lesson from the Messiah helped the adulterer to feel and be treated as important as everyone else; therefore, now she had a new life. The same question asked of the accuser was also asked of her by implication; she was asked to examine her new life and straighten it out.
The Messiah challenged the adulterers first before He forgave them. The Messiah avoided condemning the adulterers, because that would put them on the defense to rationalize and excuse their evil choices. Rather, Christ amazingly appealed to all their senses to be in touch with the Creator’s nonverbal voice. Christ stated to the woman caught in Adultery, “Neither do I condemn you. Go, and from now on do not sin anymore.” He made the sinner lose interest in defending, rationalizing and denying that they had broken the Creator’s commandments by brilliantly stating, “Neither do I condemn you.” The Messiah explained to the sinner and the innocent that eventually everyone dies; therefore, the important question is not when someone dies or is killed. Rather, what is most important is the final judgment by no one other than the Creator at the time, place and manner of His choosing.
The Messiah directly and indirectly appealed to their conscience to evaluate whether their own actions condemned them or not; because sinners know their actions best and are not anxious for us to know all they did or did not do. The Messiah taught them by helping them to understand that they have the ability to decide what to do about their choices and responses from this point on. The Messiah medicated their diseases and addictions by helping them understand. He chose to heal permanently by clearly commanding them to abide by the Creator’s timeless design. While they are stronger than before, He did not give them a permanent free ticket; rather He commanded them as He taught and commanded everyone − as the Creator likewise commands everyone, “Go, and from now on do not sin anymore.” John 5: 14 Christ stated, “do not sin anymore, so that nothing worse happens to you.”
Christ’s medicine worked and indeed continued to work for many people. Obviously, others either denied Christ’s medicine, believed in a free pass or were undecided because the disease had numbed their senses and their transformed and inseparable couples resistance against fornication or adultery. Every person has the ability to make choices and responses for themselves and their dependants. Therefore, it is logical, ethical, fair and just to be accountable for those choices that you make while seeking the help of the Creator and using the medicine he provided verbally and nonverbally.
Likewise, it is obvious to me that the generosity of the Creator’s forgiveness should affect your prior choices and responses, but your choices and responses thereafter must continue to live up to your part of the commitment and prove your sincerity and compliance with the Creator’s timeless design. For those who believe their continual violation of the Creator’s timeless design neither adds nor subtracts, I sincerely wish them the best of luck on their free pass tickets. Although it did not work for Adam, the father of all of us, maybe it will work for them.
I tend to admire the depth of understanding of Paul’s writing, encouraging and urging the Christians and everyone equally as stated in Philippians 2: 12, “So then my beloved, obedient as you have always been, not only when I am present, work out your salvation with fear and trembling.”
Promiscuity and especially adultery blinds the perpetrators to the point they convince themselves and others that they have done no wrong; they make thousands of excuses as illustrated in Proverbs 30:20, "Such is the way of an adulterous woman: she eats, wipes her mouth, and says, 'I have done no wrong.'" Avoid confusion; always remember the Creator’s timeless design and the purpose of life as your guide in every situation in life. If you are married or in a relationship and your spouse or partner betrayed you, certainly the pain is unparalleled. However, remembering that the purpose of life is to win life with the Creator and remembering that the Creator’s design for sexuality is to be one flesh forever, should help you to stop and think about the nature of the relationship that you had with the one who betrayed you. Ask yourself the direct question whether the relationship complied with the Creator’s design and was leading you to win the goal of life or not. When one considers the powerful addictive sexual promiscuity, all of the methods of numbing the transformed and inseparable couples resistance against fornication or adultery, the addict sex hunters and addict sex prey, one may actually thank these traitors for giving you the privileged opportunity to aim at the center of the purpose of life, rather than aiming at the edge and hoping you win the purpose of life after death. Therefore, after you overcome the pain of the betrayal, rejoice in the privileged opportunity to commit to chastity and to abide by the Creator’s design. Sometimes, we strive to save others, especially those we commit ourselves to, but we forget that the primary purpose is that we save ourselves. Of course, saving ourselves can also have positive effect on others.
Pain, suffering, betrayal, poverty or illnesses are not the punishment; rather the punishment is permanent separation from the Creator by losing life after death. Likewise, wealth, sensuality, sexual promiscuity or health is not the reward rather the reward is permanent life with the Creator by winning the life after death. It is great and ecstatic when the journey of life becomes pleasurable by pursuing one’s talents or desires. Nevertheless, pursuing our talents and desires should never distract us from seeking the main goal of winning the Ultimate Goal of Life, because the difference between the two is vast.
By discussion in this book and my other writings, I do not intend to judge whose Soul is condemned to hell or who is saved, because that is solely in the hands of God. God alone can judge the heart at God's understanding; it is far beyond any human comprehension. Everyone should work daily and with vigilance on his/or her salvation. What I am discussing is logic and Sacred Scripture that I find fit together to explain my understanding of God's design for us. However, I encourage everyone to consult with a valid authorized priest, which I believe to be in the Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church, about their personal situation.
